Matthew joined the Pinnacle team in 2026 and serves as Vice President of Trust Services. In this role, he oversees Pinnacle’s Trust Administration Services and works closely with the wealth management team to coordinate trust distributions, calculations, and ongoing administration. He also helps ensure compliance with applicable trust laws and coordinates Trustee and Beneficiary scorecards to help those involved understand their roles and responsibilities throughout the trust administration process.

Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 2015 and his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2018. He has more than half a decade of experience practicing law, with a focus on estate planning and administration, business succession, mergers and acquisitions, and trust administration. He also serves on the boards of two nonprofit organizations and the Medina Estate Planning Council.

At Pinnacle, Matthew works alongside clients and their trusted advisors, including CPAs, personal attorneys, and Pinnacle Advisors, to help develop and administer trusts and coordinate the different professionals involved throughout the process.

Outside of work, Matthew and his wife, Krislyn, enjoy raising their son and daughter. Having grown up in the Medina community, Matthew grew up playing soccer, golf, and volleyball in the Medina community, continuing his career at the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his parents, who live just around the corner from Pinnacle’s Medina office.
