Scott joined the Pinnacle team in January 2022 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2025. He also serves as a Wealth Manager. In this role, he oversees firmwide operations and works closely with leadership and advisors to ensure the operational infrastructure supports high-quality client service and long-term growth.

Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Syracuse University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. Active within the profession, he serves as Pro Bono Director on the Board of the Northeast Ohio chapter of the Financial Planning Association. He was appointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority Board, which provides oversight of the investments available through Ohio’s 529 College Advantage Program. In 2026, Scott serves as Board President of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Financial Planning Association. In 2023, Scott earned the respected CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.

Outside of financial planning, Scott and his wife Lesil focus on cherishing each challenge and experience associated with raising three fantastic children, Gabrielle, Alexander, and Jackson, and one spoiled dog, Mando. Scott is an avid cyclist who has biked across the country and competed in many premier one-day ultra endurance events. When not enjoying family or riding his bike as fast as possible, you will find him in the workshop handcrafting furniture for his family’s home.
